Public Holiday 2024: The month of September is going to be very good for school children in terms of holidays. This month there is a long list of holidays due to many festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Hartalika Teej and Eid ul Milad. Schools may remain closed for 9 to 12 days including Sunday. Please note that there will be a holiday in the school on 1st and 2nd September.

Pola festival will be celebrated on 2 September. Chhattisgarh state is the only state in the country which is completely an agricultural state. Paddy cultivation is the main crop here. The General Administration Department has issued a local holiday for Raipur city and Atal Nagar. According to the order, this day will be applicable for schools, banks, treasury and sub-treasury (Public Holiday 2024).
