Public Holidays 2025 Date: The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has issued a circular announcing 17 gazetted and 34 restricted holidays.

Public Holidays: The central government has announced gazetted holidays for 2025. Apart from this, the Center has also announced restricted holidays. Gazetted holidays are mandatory government holidays, while restricted holidays are discretionary and vary by institution and state. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has issued a circular announcing 17 gazetted and 34 restricted holidays.
