Rae Bareli Corona Update: dead bodies in cremation grounds, acute shortage of wood

In Rae Bareli, the waiting of the dead bodies was going on at the cremation ghats. There has been a huge shortage of wood to burn the dead bodies.

Rae Bareli: In the rising outbreak of Corona, now Rae Bareli has also become like Lucknow. The waiting of the dead bodies was going on at the cremation grounds. There has been a huge shortage of wood to burn the dead bodies. Woods are being sourced from Fatehpur district. Not only this, instead of mangoes for the dead body, Eucalyptus and Chilwal are being run with wood. The rates of these woods are also touching, the prices of Eucalyptus and Chilwal are in the market from 1000 to 1200 rupees per quintal.

According to the information received, the maximum bodies in the district are reaching the Dalmau crematorium. Someday 40 or 50 and someday this figure is reaching 100. At the Gokna Crematorium Ghat in Unchahar area, 15 to 20 bodies and 20 to 25 dead bodies are taken to the Ghegaso crematorium in Sereni for cremation every day. Every day this figure is increasing rather than decreasing.

Rajendra Panda of Dalmau, Kamlesh Panda says that after corona the number of dead bodies at the crematorium ghats is increasing every day. It has been difficult to find mango wood. In such a situation, the wood of Chilwal, Eucalyptus is being arranged. The local police bothers when the wood is brought from outside. This is causing further problems. If the condition remains the same, the funeral of dead bodies will not be possible. People will have to give burial to their dead bodies.

Let me tell you that it is considered best to cremate the body with sandalwood. But it is difficult to collect sandal wood, so it is considered good to cremate the body with mango wood. Because mango is called nectar fruit. Its wood is considered pure. Some cremation of sandalwood is kept on cremation with mango wood too. The cremation of dead bodies with the wood of Chilwal and Eucalyptus is not considered correct.
