Alert Today: In the month of Sawan in Madhya Pradesh, once again a new strong system has become active over the Arabian Sea, due to which the state will see good rains for the next 2-3 days. Today on Friday, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in 38 districts including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, these districts may receive two and a half to four inches of rain. There is a possibility of heavy showers especially in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Indore, Ujjain divisions.
With the new system, the rainy season will continue till July 10.

Retain moisture in the atmosphere
According to the MP Meteorological Department, at present the monsoon trough is passing through Bikaner, Kota, Raisen, Mandla and Ambikapur. Along with the Western Disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir, the cyclonic circulation in Punjab and the monsoon trough line from the Bay of Bengal to Rajasthan are active. Due to passing through the Gwalior Chambal division of this trough line, a lot of moisture is coming. There is a possibility of rain due to the cyclonic circulation of Punjab and Western Disturbance and there is good rainfall in the southern part of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a circle of cyclonic winds in the Bay of Bengal and North Odisha. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is centered over Central Uttar Pradesh.
