Piyush Goyal has informed, ‘In view of the decreasing infection of Kovid, along with starting train services, the frequency of currently running trains is also being increased. In this sequence, trains going from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar to Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra and Ahmedabad to New Delhi will now provide their services daily.
Which trains have changed?
Let us inform that the frequency of Ahmedabad-New Delhi (Special Rajdhani) has been increased and this train has been made daily from June 28. Apart from this, it has also been decided to make the train going from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar to Katra daily from July 1. Until recently the services of these trains were not daily, while trains were being operated only on few days of the week. Now, due to increase in the frequency of both the train services, passengers are going to benefit a lot.

600 trains started operation

Indian Railways has told that in view of the huge demand of passengers, 660 trains have been started in the month of June only. These trains are running in special service.
26 in Central Railway, 18 in Eastern Central Railway, 68 in Eastern Railway, 16 in North Central Railway, 38 in North Eastern Railway zone, 28 in Northeast Frontier Railway zone, 158 in Northern Railway, 34 in North Western Railway, South Central Railway Approval has been given to run 84 trains in Zone, 16 in South Eastern Central Railway Zone, 60 in South Eastern Railway Zone, 70 in Central Zone, 28 in Western Central Zone, 16 in Western Railway Zone. This total number is 660.
