Good News From Indian Railways: Railway gave gift to passengers on budget day! This service started again

Railways has resumed the booking of unreserved tickets through the UTS Mobile App in Chennai suburban from 1 February. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has given this information by tweeting.




Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the general budget on 1 February 2021. The finance minister made several big announcements in the budget to bring the economy back on track. There was a special focus on the health sector with infrastructure. Indian Railways has also given a big gift to the passengers on the budget day. Railways has resumed the booking of unreserved tickets through the UTS Mobile App in Chennai suburban from 1 February. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has given this information by tweeting.

Explain that the railway had launched the UTS mobile app to protect passengers from congestion at ticket counters. General tickets and platform tickets can be purchased only with the help of mobile. This app is available for both Android and iPhone mobile users. GPS must be turned on to use this application. Tickets can be booked within a radius of five kilometers around the station.

This facility will be available at these stations

The service will be available at Chennai Suburban Terminus-Thiruvallur, Royapuram-Gummidipondi, Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu and Chennai Beach-Velachery sections.

Book tickets like this

First download the UTS app on your mobile. After this, fill the information of your name, mobile number, ID card number and register. On registering, an OTP will appear in your mobile number. Now you can sign up. After this the ID and password will come on your registered mobile number. Through which UTS will be logged.

Take care of these things

>> Unreserved tickets, season tickets, platform tickets can also be booked.

>> Travel tickets will be made at a radius of five km of the station and platform tickets at a distance of two km.

>> Tickets will not be able to be booked after entering the station premises. So that passengers can not book by looking at the TTE inside the train. Rather do it in advance.

>> Advance tickets and discounted tickets will not be booked, tickets will be booked on the day of journey.

>> Booked paperless tickets can be seen by clicking on the show ticket and cannot be canceled.

Four ticket booking at a time

On this ticket too, passengers will be given a PNR number. Passengers will be able to book tickets for a maximum of four people on a PNR. The GPS message related to which station to walk from and which station to descend, will come after booking the ticket. You will be able to pay for tickets by debit card, credit card, paytm etc.
