Railway Good News: The trains affected due to the first and second wave of Corona have come on track to a great extent. Express and passenger trains have also been restored in various zones of the country. Premium train services like Tejas Express have also been started. In the press conference organized by the Railway Board, it was said that the train services are being increased keeping in view the needs of the passengers. In this sequence, Railways has given good news regarding 28 pairs of East Central Railway i.e. 56 trains.
CPRO Rajesh Kumar of East Central Railway said that the ‘operational period’ of 28 pairs of trains has been extended till further orders. The timings, routes and coach structure of the extended trains will remain as before. These trains will directly benefit lakhs of passengers from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat and other states. All coaches in these trains will be of reserved category and passengers traveling in it will have to follow the norms of Kovid-19.
