Confirm Train Ticket: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that in the next 5-6 years, it is the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that any passenger will easily get a confirmed ticket while traveling by train.

Confirm Train Ticket: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that 10 years ago, when we talked about railways, different pictures were seen. There was a problem of filth in railway stations and trains. 10 years ago the condition of the Railways was such that it had been written off. In the same program, he also told from the stage that in the coming 5-6 years, the problem of waiting list in Railways will end. During this, Vaishnav, without taking his name, took a dig at RJD supremo Lalu Yadav and said that there were some leaders who used to fill their houses by doing such things by giving jobs in exchange of land or were busy in raising their children.

The appearance of trains changed

The Railway Minister said that in the last 10 years, PM Modi has brought incredible changes in the Railways. First of all he changed the arrangement of toilets in trains. 15-20 years ago no one could have imagined that railway stations and trains could be so clean. 2.5 crore people travel by train daily, equal to the population of Australia, people travel by train in India. 750 crore people travel only by train in a year.

He told that the previous Congress governments had neglected the Railways and thought that there would be no change in it. But, as soon as PM Modi came, he understood this problem and found out why investment does not come in Railways. 7 Taka interest was charged on the grant given by the Government of India to the Railways, which means interest was also paid from government to government. But, PM Modi examines every work very minutely. When he understood this, the first thing he did was merge the railway budget with the general budget. The matter of seven taka interest has ended.

The problem of waiting list will end

The Union Minister further said that during the time of Congress, railway tracks were laid at a snail’s pace. Work was done at a speed of only 4 kilometers per day. Around one and a half thousand kilometers of tracks were laid in a year. Whereas, Modi government laid 5,300 kilometers of tracks in one year. Last year, 5,200 kilometers of tracks were laid, which means in one year, India has laid as many railway tracks as the entire railway network of Switzerland. At the same time, in 10 years, 31,000 kilometers of new tracks have been laid across the country. In the next five-six years, so many tracks will have been built in the country, so many new trains will have run that the problem of waiting list will end. We are working in the same direction.

Told Congress to be a blackmailing shop

He said that Congress was a blackmailing shop. He used to paint old things and make old things look new. But, PM Modi says bring permanent change. Therefore, 1,300 stations are being rebuilt across the country. This is the world’s largest redevelopment program. The designs of the stations are also being made in such a way that it will seem that India’s dream is coming true.

Railways is making super app

Vaishnav told that we are going to make a super app for Railways, which will have all the facilities related to Railways. Like you have to see which train is going from where, whether you want to buy a ticket, whether it is reserved or unreserved. If reserved, use IRCTC and if unreserved, do not have to stand in line. Keeping all these things in mind, we are going to create a super app. So that there is a new experience of railways in your life. It may take about 4 to 5 months to create this app.
