Railway New App: Good news for railway passengers! From next month you will be able to book train tickets on the new super app; you will get many features

Indian Railways is launching an all-in-one app keeping in mind the needs of rail passengers. There are indications that this app may be launched next month. Everything from ticket booking to tracking the location of the train can be done in it.

Indian Railways Passenger: You must be taking the help of IRCTC app to book train tickets, but the option to track live train status is not available on it. For many such features, the existing IRCTC app is not enough for the users and it needs major changes. Understanding this, an all-in-one app is being launched by the Railways. Economic Times has reported in its report that this app can be launched in December.

Millions of people travel daily through India’s fourth largest railway network and the management of everything from ticket booking to travel is very complex and many different apps and websites have been created for this. Users also do things like booking tickets, checking PNR status or tracking the live location of the train with the help of many third-party apps. Now the railways is going to provide all the features together in the official app.

New app will be linked to IRCTC

It is expected that the new app will be very useful for rail travelers and it has been designed by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). This app will be linked to the ticket booking website IRCTC. In this, passengers will be given options related to ticket booking, during the journey and after it. With this new app, Indian Railways will try to make all the options easier and increase revenue.

The new report says that the new app can be launched for all passengers at the end of December next month. This app will work as an interface between IRCTC and passengers. It has come to light that under long planning, integration work is going on between the new all-in-one app and IRCTC.

Now many different apps have to be used

Now users have to take help of many apps for different services and facilities related to railways. For example, IRCTC Rail Connect app is used for booking, changing or cancelling train tickets. Similarly, IRCTC e-Catering is used for ordering food in the train and Rail Madad app is used for complaints or suggestions. Apart from this, users also use UTS and National Train Enquiry System.
