Indian Railways: PRS services of Railways in Delhi will remain temporarily closed on the night of 3 November. According to Railways, this includes reservation, cancellation, charting, inquiry service, 139, counter service, internet booking and EDR services. An alert has been issued by the Railways for the passengers in this regard.

New Delhi: If you are going to go to Delhi Railway Station to book train tickets from the ticket counter for your upcoming train journey, then this news is useful for you. Actually, Railways has given a big information to the public that the services of ticket counter or passenger reservation systems of Delhi Railway Station will be closed for a few hours on 3rd November. This information has been given by the Railways. Let us tell you that according to Railways, all the services of Delhi Passenger Reservation System will be temporarily suspended from 11.45 pm to 01.15 am on 03/04 November. In such a situation, all services at Delhi Railway Station will be halted for more than an hour.

These services will remain closed

According to the information given by the Railways, all services like ticket cancellation, charting or chart preparation, inquiry service and internet booking and EDR services are going to be halted. These services will not be available till approximately 01.30 hours. Let us tell you that due to the activity of compression of static and dynamic database of Railways, it has been decided to suspend these reservation counter services.

Online services will remain operational

Let us tell you that services like online ticket booking, cancellation, inquiry will continue to work on the IRCTC portal as before. Passengers can use these online facilities. This will not cause them any kind of problem.
