Download IRCTC app
First of all download the IRCTC app and login. Save all your information like route information and train numbers in advance. This will not require you to search for train information again and again and ticket booking will be done faster.
Make a master list
Before traveling with your family or friends, prepare their master list. Include the names, berths and food preferences of all the passengers in it. You can create your master list by going to the My Profile section of IRCTC. This will save time while booking tickets and you will not have to fill in the information again and again.
Use e-Wallet
Use UPI wallet or internet banking while making payment for ticket booking. Making payment with UPI wallet is quick and easy as it takes less time. It may take more time to enter login, password and OTP in internet banking. You can also put money in IRCTC’s e-Wallet, which will save you time for net banking.
