There is good news for the youth who are looking for jobs in Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway (RRC WCR) has released a notification for the 2226 vacancies for the post of Trade Apprentice. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of West Central Railway at wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. Let us tell you that the process of application has started from 11 October, the last date of which is 10 November 2021.
These appointments will be done for many trades including Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Welder, Turner, Carpenter, Painter, Mechanic, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Computer Operator, Stenographer, Pump Operator, Hotel Clerk, House Keeper, Secretarial Assistant, Wireman, etc.
Candidate Qualification-
The candidate must note that he must have passed 10th class examination with at least 50% marks from a recognized institute or board. Also should have ITI certificate (recognized from NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade of the post.
Selection Process-
This recruitment will be done on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th. A merit will be made on the basis of the marks of the candidates. Then shortlisted candidates will be called for document/certificate verification.
Age Range-
The minimum age of the candidate should be less than 15 and maximum 24 years. Whereas, the upper age limit will be relaxed by three years for OBC category, five years for SC/ST category candidates and ten years for physically handicapped.
How much will be the application fee-
General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Whereas SC, ST and women candidates do not have to pay any fee.
