Railway Jobs: Indian Railways has released a job notification for filling up various vacancies. Many posts are being filled and applications are being accepted. Know the details of this job notification.
Indian Railways is accepting applications for filling up the posts of Assistant Programmers on deputation basis. Central and state government employees and railway employees can apply for these posts. There are total four spaces. These posts are being filled on deputation basis so only those who are already in government jobs are eligible.
These are Group B, non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts. Level 7 Pay Scale of 7th Pay Commission will be applicable for the selected candidates. With a basic salary of Rs.44,900, the total salary is Rs.1,42,400. Those selected will have a deputation of three years. Indian Railways requires candidates to read the complete details before applying.
If you look at the details of educational qualifications, you need to pass Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology from a recognized university. BE or B.Tech pass in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology.
Candidate should have five years experience in relevant field. Should be in Level-6 Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission. That means he should be getting a salary of Rs.1,12,400 with a basic salary of Rs.35,400. Only those who have these qualifications should apply for these posts.
Interested should apply offline. That means download the application form from the official website, complete it and send it by post to the address mentioned in the notification by the last date. This notification came into force on 2nd June 2023. Indian Railways wants applications to be sent within 60 days.
The deadline for applying for these posts is 2nd August. Applications should be sent to the postal address by then. Address to which applications should be sent: Deputy Secretary (Admn.), Room No. 110-C, Rail Bhawan, Raisina Road, New Delhi-110001.
Applying candidates should attach the required documents along with the application form. Xerox copies of certificates should also be attached. Railway will fill these posts through personal interview, document verification and medical examination.
