This is the reason why there is a lot of crowd in trains during the festival season. Every person goes home and takes something or the other with him for the festival. A lot of crackers are burst on Diwali. That’s why they are also being purchased a lot. A big question is whether a passenger can travel with crackers and sparklers in the train? Does Railways allow this?

The answer to this question is no. Indian Railways does not allow inflammable substances like firecrackers and sparklers to be carried in passenger trains. Therefore, if you have also planned to carry firecrackers and other similar things with you, then abandon your plan. If you are caught with prohibited items in the train, you can get into big trouble. Indian Railways also repeatedly appeals to passengers not to travel with firecrackers.

There may be a punishment of 3 years

According to the rules of Indian Railways, if a passenger carries any of the prohibited items during the journey, then action can be taken against him under Section 164 of the Railway Act. Under this section, the passenger can be sentenced to a fine of Rs 1000 or imprisonment of three years or both. Because firecrackers come under the category of prohibited items, you will be liable for punishment if caught in the train.

You can’t take whoever you want in the train.

If you pack your luggage without thinking while going on a trip, you may get into trouble. Actually, Railways has banned many such things from being carried in the train which can endanger the safety of railway passengers. These are such items which pose a risk of fire in the train, making the train dirty, causing inconvenience to the passengers and causing an accident in the train. These items can neither be taken with you in the passenger coach nor can they be kept in the luggage van.

These items are banned

Stoves, gas cylinders, any kind of inflammable chemical, firecrackers, acids, smelly objects, leather or wet skin, oil brought in packages, grease, such objects which if broken or dripping can cause damage to objects or passengers during train journey. ,It is prohibited to take along. According to railway rules, passengers can carry up to 20 kg of ghee in the train, but the ghee should be packed well in a tin box.
