Railway Rules: Confirmed tickets are not available in railways to go home, seats are vacant in these trains, railways has released the complete list

There is good news for those who travel in unreserved coaches in trains, they too will soon be able to enjoy AC travel at a lower fare. Railways have done its trial.

New Delhi. People traveling by train face the most problems during festive season and holidays, because it is very difficult to get a confirmed ticket at that time, waiting starts as soon as booking starts 120 days in advance. In such a situation, there is a problem in traveling by train with family. There is good news for these passengers. Their problems will be reduced to a great extent. They will be able to enjoy AC travel on unreserved tickets. Know the plan of the railways-

Currently more than 10000 trains are running in the whole country. This also includes premium trains like Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Vande Bharat. About 2 crore passengers travel by these trains daily. About 10 percent i.e. 20 lakh people travel by making reservations. The number of travelers increases manifold during peak season. The railways have made a plan to provide relief to such passengers.

There was a struggle to make such coaches for a long time

The obstacle in installing AC in unreserved coaches was the number of passengers. The number of passengers in all the existing AC coaches is fixed. There are 72 confirmed ticket holders and some waiting list passengers. Thus, this number is around 80, ACs of that capacity are installed according to the number of passengers. When the unreserved coach is full, the number of passengers is around 250. Therefore, it was necessary to balance the capacity of the coach and AC. The railways were struggling to make such unreserved coaches for a long time.

Trial of this train was successful

Coaches with such design have been prepared in Namo Bharat Rapid Rail which ran between Bhuj and Ahmedabad recently. According to railway engineers, the capacity of passengers in unreserved coaches is not fixed, so axle load has been kept according to the maximum capacity of 270 passengers, while ACs of 15-15 tons have been installed, so that the coach remains completely cool when the capacity is full. Just like metro travel is done now. According to railway officials, trial is being done in this train. In future, unreserved coaches will be prepared on this concept.

ACs with double capacity than Shatabdi-Rajdhani

ACs with double capacity than Shatabdi-Rajdhani will be installed in unreserved coaches. According to railway engineers, currently in premium trains like Shatabdi, Rajdhani, two ACs of eight tons each are installed in each coach, but in unreserved coaches, two ACs of 15-15 tons will be installed in one coach. So that the coach remains completely cool.
