Indian Railway Special Trains: There is good news for railway passengers. 22 special trains are going to run in October via Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, which will provide convenience to the passengers during the Dussehra, Chhath and Diwali season. The route and schedule of all these trains are given below. Train number 04123 Prayagraj Junction to Hazrat Nizamuddin from 16 to 20 October, 04124 Hazrat Nizamuddin to Prayagraj Junction from 17 to 21 October, Train number 09525 Hapa to Naharlagun till 16 October, Train number 09526 Naharlagun to Hapa till 19 October, Train number 13343 Varanasi Junction to Shaktinagar MEMU from 17 to 19 October, Train number 13345 Varanasi Junction to Singrauli from 20 to 21 October, Train number 13344 Shaktinagar to Varanasi Junction MEMU from 18 to 20 October, Train number 13346 Singrauli to Varanasi Junction MEMU from 21 to 22 October, Train number 04056 Anand Vihar to Ballia till 16 October, Train number 04055 Ballia to Anand Vihar till 17 October will remain cancelled.
Special Trains running in October
Train number 04044 Anand Vihar Terminal-Gorakhpur Special will now run from Anand Vihar Terminal on 26 and 29 October and 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23 and 26 November and 04043 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Special will run from Gorakhpur on 27 and 30 October and 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24 and 27 November. This train will have 16 sleeper class coaches, two general second class coaches and one air-conditioned second cum third class coach.
Train No. 04223 Tata-Lucknow Festival Special train will leave Tatanagar station at 11:00 am on 17th October and will reach Lucknow the next day i.e. 18th October at 04:55 am. In return, Train No. 04224 Lucknow-Tatanagar Special train will leave Lucknow at 03:10 pm on 16th October and will reach Tatanagar the next day i.e. 17th October at 08:50 am.
Train No. 04225 Tatanagar-Lucknow Special train will leave Tatanagar station at 11:00 am on 21st October and will reach Lucknow at 04:55 am on 22nd October. Train number 04226 Lucknow- Tatanagar special train will depart on 20 October at 03:40 pm and will reach Tatanagar station the next day i.e. 21 October at 09:10 am. It will stop at Tatanagar, Gomoh, Gaya, Sasaram, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Varanasi, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow Charbagh stations.
Train number 01415 Pune-Gorakhpur special train will depart from Pune station daily from 22 October to 11 November at 6:50 am and will reach Bhopal at 11:15 pm and Gorakhpur station at 4 pm the next evening. Train number 01416 Gorakhpur-Pune special train will depart from Gorakhpur station daily from 23 October to 12 November at 5:30 pm and will reach Bhopal at 10:05 am the next day and Pune station at 3:15 late night. This train will stop at Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti stations.
Train number 01207 Nagpur – Samastipur Weekly Special train will depart from Nagpur station every Wednesday from 30 October to 13 November at 10:40 am, reach Itarsi at 3:45 pm, Bhopal at 5:40 pm and other stations on the route and reach Samastipur station the next day at 9:30 pm. Train 01208 Samastipur – Nagpur Weekly Special train will depart from Samastipur station every Thursday from 31 October to 14 November at 11:45 pm, reach Bhopal on the second day (Friday) at 11:50 pm, reach Nagpur station on the third day (Saturday) at 1:55 pm via Itarsi and other stations on the route and reach Nagpur station at 7 am.
Vande Bharat Special train number 02252 will leave from New Delhi to Patna on 30 October, 1, 3 and 6 November, Vande Bharat Special train number 02251 will leave from Patna to New Delhi on 31 October, 2, 4 and 7 November and Vande Bharat Special train number 02270 will leave from Lucknow to Chhapra on 25 October.
Tejas Superfast Puja Special train number 02248 will run from New Delhi to Patna on 29, 31 October, 2 and 5 November. Train number 04071 will run from New Delhi to Katra on 12 October and train number 04072 will return from Katra to New Delhi on 13 October.
Train No. 09655 Ajmer – Valsad Special will leave from Ajmer every Wednesday at 7.55 pm from 9th to 13th November and will reach Valsad on Thursday at 11.30 am via Chittaurgarh (11.35/11.45), Nimbahera (12.16/12.18), Neemuch, Mandsaur (1.44/1.49) and Ratlam (3.50/4.00). Train number 09656 Valsad-Ajmer Special will leave Valsad every Thursday from 10 October to 14 November at 3.05 pm and will reach Ajmer on Friday at 7.50 am via Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch (2.19/2.21), Nimbahera (2.50/2.52) and Chittorgarh (3.35/3.45). Stopping at Nasirabad, Bijainagar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Nimbahera, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara and Surat stations.
Train No. 03388 Patliputra – Saharsa Special will leave Patliputra at 11.00 am on every Wednesday of the week from 16th October to 27th December and will reach Saharsa at 17.15 pm, stopping at Sonpur at 11.28 am, Hajipur at 11.40 am, Barauni at 13.30 pm, Begusarai at 14.00 pm, Khagaria at 14.30 pm, Mansi at 14.50 pm, Simri Bakhtiyarpur at 15.45 pm. Train No. 03387 Saharsa-Patliputra Special will leave Saharsa every Friday of the week at 13.35 hrs, stop at Simri Bakhtiyarpur at 13.53 hrs, Mansi at 14.50 hrs, Khagaria at 15.02 hrs, Begusarai at 15.36 hrs, Barauni at 16.00 hrs, Hajipur at 17.38 hrs and Sonpur at 17.53 hrs and reach Patliputra at 19.15 hrs
Special train number 02250/2249 between Old Delhi to Patna will return from Old Delhi on 24th and 30th October and from Patna to Delhi on 25th October and 1st November.
Train number 04052/04051 between New Delhi to Jaynagar will leave from New Delhi to Jaynagar on 26th, 29th October and 1st, 4th November. On return, this train will run from Jaynagar to Delhi on 27, 30 October and 2, 5 November.
Train number 04054/04053 will operate between New Delhi and Barauni. This train will run from New Delhi on 27, 30 October and 2, 5 November. On return, this train will leave from Barauni for New Delhi on 28, 30 October and 3, 6 November.
