The Railway Board has given green signal to the proposal to run a new train between the two cities. This train will run once a week
According to the letter issued from the Railway Board, this train will run only once a week. This train will leave every week on Friday at 3:35 pm from Lucknow’s Gomtinagar railway station. This train will reach Godda the next day on Saturday at 11:10 am. In return, this train will leave from Godda every Saturday at 2:10 pm and will reach Gomti Nagar at 7:30 am the next day.
Where will the stoppage be
After leaving from Gamtinagar, this weekly train will stop at Barabanki, Burhwal, Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Bhatni, Siwan Chhapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Munger, Sultanganj, Bhagalpur, Barahat and Hansdiha. . In return also, after starting from Godda, it will reach Gomti Nagar stopping at all the above mentioned stations.
What will be the time
This train will depart from Gomtinagar at 15.35 hrs. This train will reach Gorakhpur at 20:40 in the night. After stopping there for 10 minutes, the train will start on its onward journey. It will reach Sonpur after midnight at 01:53. The train will stop there for two minutes. The train will reach Barauni at 04.10 am. After stopping there for 10 minutes, this train will pass through Munger Ganga Bridge and reach Godda at 11.10 am via Bhagalpur. The return train will leave from Godda at 14.10 hrs. This train will reach Barauni at 19.45 in the evening. After stopping for 10 minutes, this train will reach Sonpur at 21.30 pm. Its arrival time at Gorakhpur is 02:30 am. After a 10-minute halt there, the train will leave for Gomti Nagar. Its arrival time at Gomti Nagar, Lucknow is 7.30 am.
