But can you imagine that you can travel in 8 different trains with a single ticket? And that too for a total of 56 days. You are also unaware of this service of Indian Railways, right? We are talking about circular journey ticket. This is a facility about which very few people know and even fewer people take advantage of it.

A special ticket called Circular Journey Ticket is issued by the Railways. This ticket is usually for pilgrims and tourists. During this, you can travel by train from 8 different stations simultaneously. Another special feature of this ticket is that it can be booked for travel in any class.

With a circular ticket, you can end your journey from where you started. Suppose you take a circular ticket from New Delhi and you want to do a Golden Triangle tour, then you can go from New Delhi to Jaipur, Jaipur to Agra, Agra and come back to Delhi. However, you cannot buy this ticket directly from the counter. You will have to apply for it in advance.

While applying, you will have to tell the concerned railway officials about your entire travel route. Talking about the fare of this ticket, telescopic rates are applicable on it, which makes it much lower than the point-to-point fare.
