Summer Special Trains: To provide relief to the passengers, the Railways has extended the duration of 18 special trains. These trains will be operated on different routes. Let us know which are these trains.
Indian Railways Summer Special Trains: In view of the huge demand for travel in summer, the duration of seven pairs of special trains has been extended by the Railways. Now these trains will run for more time than before. This arrangement from the railway side will give relief to the passengers. This change in special trains has been done by Western Railway. These trains are run on different routes.
Indian Railway Network has informed about this on its official Twitter handle on Friday. Railway wrote in its tweet that WR has increased the journey of 9 pairs of special trains on special fare. The booking for extended journeys of Train No. 09051, 09456, 09455, 09093 and 09067 is open while for travel by Train No. 09207, 09208, 09091, 09435 and 09436 the booking of tickets is open from 1st July 2023 at PRS counters and IRCTC website But it will open.
WR has extended the trips of 7 pairs of Special Trains on Special Fare.

Time limit of these 18 special trains extended
- Train No. 09185 Mumbai Central – Kanpur Anwarganj Weekly Special was scheduled to run up to 24th June, 2023 but will now run up to 1st July, 2023
- Train No. 09186 Kanpur Anwarganj – Mumbai Central Weekly Special was earlier scheduled to run up to 25th June, 2023 but will now run up to 2nd July, 2023
- Train number 05054 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special was earlier scheduled to run till 24 June 2023, but now it will run till 1 July 2023
- Train number 05053 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Special was earlier scheduled to run on 23 June 2023 but will now run till 30 June 2023.
- Train No. 04126 Bandra Terminus – Subedarganj Weekly Superfast Special was earlier scheduled to run up to 27 June 2023 but now extended up to 26 September 2023
- Train No. 04125 Subedarganj – Bandra Terminus Weekly Superfast Special train was earlier scheduled to run on 26 June 2023 but now extended up to 25 September
- Train number 09117 Surat – Subedarganj weekly special was earlier scheduled to run till June 30, but now it will run till August 25.
- Train number 09118 weekly special train from Subedarganj to Surat was to run till 1st July, but now it will run till 26th August
- Train number 01906 Ahmedabad to Kanpur Central Weekly Special was earlier to run till 27th June, but now it will run till 26th September.
- Train number 01905 Kanpur Central to Ahmedabad weekly superfast special train was to run till 26 June, but now it will run till 25 September
- Train number 04166 Ahmedabad to Agra Cantt weekly superfast train was earlier to run till June 29, but now it will run till September 28.
- Train No. 04165 Agra Cantt – Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special was earlier scheduled to run up to 28th June, 2023 but is now extended up to 27th September
- Train No. 04168 Ahmedabad-Agra Cantt Weekly Superfast Special which was earlier scheduled to run till 26th June but now extended till 25th September
- Train No 04167 Agra Cantt – Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Special was earlier scheduled to run till 25th June, but now it has been extended till 24th September
- Train number 09321 Indore – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Weekly Special was earlier scheduled to run on June 28, but now it has been extended till August 30.
- Train No. 09322 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Indore Weekly Special was earlier scheduled to run up to 30th June, but now extended up to 1st September, 2023
- Train No. 09324 Indore – Pune Weekly Special earlier notified up to 29th June, 2023 has been extended up to 31st August, 2023
- Train No. 09323 Pune-Indore Weekly Special was earlier notified up to 30th June, 2023, will be extended up to 1st September
