North Eastern Railway today departed the first Kisan train from Tarkeshwar in West Bengal (West Bengal) to Dimapur in Nagaland (Nagaland). The first batch of potatoes were sent for sale from West Bengal to the northeastern states through this train.

At the same time, the 00330 train from Dimapur will leave for its destination on Saturday night at 9:30. This train will reach Tarkeshwar in West Bengal at 7:10 am.
