Rain Alert: Heavy rain alert in these states even today, know the weather across the country

Rainfall Alert: According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa on July 18. At the same time, light to moderate rain is expected in Delhi today.

Weather Update Today: Many states of India are receiving torrential rains these days. Many parts of the country are affected by floods, due to which the normal life of the people has been disrupted. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa on July 18.

Delhi weather

These days, Delhi is experiencing humid heat along with rain. However, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on July 18. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 35 to 37 degree Celsius throughout this week and the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 27 to 29 degree Celsius.

Weather condition of the country

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, moderate to heavy rains are possible in Konkan and Goa, Gujarat, coastal Karnataka and Kerala today. At the same time, light to moderate rains with heavy rains may occur at some places in Vidarbha, Marathwada, southern Chhattisgarh, southern Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur in Sikkim, Northeast India, interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Uttarakhand, Terai areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and some parts of Rajasthan. Light rain is possible in Jharkhand, Odisha, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Haryana.

Weather activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, a low pressure area persists over southeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. The cyclonic circulation associated with it is spread up to 5.8 km above sea level and is tilted towards southwest with height. At the same time, the monsoon line near sea level is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Sagar, Mandla, Gopalpur and then towards southeast through the middle of the Bay of Bengal.

Apart from this, a western disturbance remains in the form of a trough in the middle tropospheric westerly winds, whose axis is about 5.8 km above sea level from 72 degrees east to north of latitude 32 degrees north. A trough is formed from the South Gujarat coast to the North Kerala coast. A new low pressure area is likely to develop in the west central and adjoining north-western Bay of Bengal around July 19.
