Rain Alert: Heavy rains will occur in these states till December 18 amid cold, know the weather condition

The Meteorological Department has said that cold wave is going to prevail in the states of North West and Central India for the next three to four days. Cold wave is going to prevail in many states including UP-Delhi in the coming days. Along with this, a low pressure area is formed in South India, due to which a very heavy rain alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Kerala etc. on December 12. At the same time, severe cold wave conditions were observed in Haryana, while cold wave prevailed in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. At the same time, it was a cold day in Haryana. Apart from this, dense fog has been recorded in Meghalaya, Odisha, Tripura, Assam and Sub Himalayan West Bengal.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that Tamil Nadu and Karaikal will receive very heavy rains on December 12, while rain alerts have also been issued on December 17, 13, 16 and 18. Kerala is likely to receive very heavy rains on December 12. At the same time, there will be very heavy rains on December 13, 17 and 18. Talking about coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, there is going to be heavy rain here on December 12, 17 and 18. Heavy rains are expected in South Interior Karnataka on December 12 and 17. Apart from this, a warning of light to moderate rain and lightning has also been issued in the areas of Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh on December 12.

The minimum temperature in Rajasthan is running below five degrees, while in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh it is three to five degrees Celsius below the average. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya is one to three degrees Celsius below the average. Talking about the plains, today the lowest minimum temperature of one degree Celsius was recorded in Sikar district of Rajasthan.

Cold wave alert in UP-Delhi

There will be no major change in the weather in northwest and central India for the next five days. However, the minimum temperature in eastern India may fall by two to three degrees Celsius for the next two days. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in western India is going to increase by two to three degrees Celsius for the next five days. The weather department has warned that Punjab will experience severe cold on 12-15 December, Uttar Pradesh on 12-15 December, Haryana, Chandigarh also on 12-15 December, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh on 12 and 13 December, Madhya Pradesh on 12-16 December, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand on 12-14 December, Delhi on 13 and 14 December, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh between 13 and 16 December. Cold wave warning has been issued in these states. There is a cold day warning in Madhya Pradesh till 12-14 December. At the same time, dense fog will occur in Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar till 13 December, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till 17 December.
