Weather Update: The entire North India including Uttar Pradesh has got relief from cold. The temperature is continuously increasing. However, now the weather is going to change and it will rain in many states including UP. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a rain alert in UP from 3 to 5 February i.e. for three days. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in the western Himalayan region till February 5 and in North West India from February 3 to 5. At the same time, there is a possibility of dense fog in North India tonight and tomorrow morning.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, dense fog was seen in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, while fog also prevailed in Chandigarh, Sikkim. Apart from this, light rain and snowfall occurred in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh.
According to the Meteorological Department, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh are going to receive rain on February 1 and 2, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on February 1. On the other hand, a new Western Disturbance is going to arrive on February 3, due to which the weather will change. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh will receive rain between February 3 and 5. There is a rain alert in Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan on February 3 and 4. Along with this, Lakshadweep is also going to receive rain on February 1.
In the next three days, the minimum temperature in North India will increase by two to three degrees Celsius. However, there will be no major change in the temperature of the hilly states during this period. There will be no change in Central India for the next one day, but after that the temperature will increase by three degrees. Talking about the fog situation, fog will prevail in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur etc. till February 2.
