Rain Alert: There will be rain for 3 days in North India amidst severe cold, Know weather condition

Rain Alert, Cold Weather Update 2 January: There is a possibility of rain in North West India for three days i.e. from January 4 to 6. There is also a storm alert in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh on January 5 and 6.

Rain Alert: Due to snowfall in the hilly states of North India, the cold has increased in the plains. People are facing difficulties due to severe cold in many states including UP, Delhi, Punjab. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that the weather is going to change in the coming days and it is going to rain in many states of North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan region i.e. the hilly states of North India for the next one week. Along with this, there will be rain in the plains of North India on January 4, 5 and 6. During this time, there is an alert of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir on January 5 and 6. On the other hand, there is going to be cold day and dense fog in the states of North West India and Central India for the next 24 hours. There may be some improvement after that.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, cold day to severe cold day conditions were recorded in Haryana, Rajasthan, eastern Uttar Pradesh, western Madhya Pradesh. States like Punjab, Uttar Pradesh experienced cold day. There was very dense fog in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, western Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, due to which visibility was affected.

Rain alert for three days in North West India

The weather department has forecast that there may be snowfall and light rain in the western Himalayan regions between January 2 and 4. Apart from this, there will be heavy rain and snowfall on January 5 and 6. At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on January 5 and 6. There is also a possibility of rain in North West India from January 4 to 6, that is, for three days. There is also an alert of storm in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh on January 5 and 6.

How is the weather going to be?

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Northwest India is going to increase by two to three degrees Celsius during the next five days. Apart from this, there will be no major change in Central and East India during the next three days, but after that it will increase by two to three degrees Celsius. In Maharashtra, the minimum temperature will fall by two to three degrees Celsius in the next two days. Talking about cold day, a cold day alert has been issued for January 2 in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, remote areas of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Western Madhya Pradesh on January 2. Along with this, dense fog is going to cover Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha on January 2, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh on January 2 and 3, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura from January 2 to 6.
