Rainfall Alert: Heavy rain warning with strong winds in Delhi, another disturbance going to be active from 10th

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of fog or moderate fog at most places in Delhi on January 5 in the morning. There is a possibility of dense fog at some places. During this time the sky will remain partly cloudy. There is a possibility of fog or light fog in the evening or night as well. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain or showers may occur on January 6 along with strong winds and thunder.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is currently active. Along with this, a cyclonic circulation is also located over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan. Due to the effect of these weather systems, heavy rain or snowfall may occur in Jammu and Kashmir on January 4 and 5, while in Himachal Pradesh on January 5 and 6. Due to its effect, light to moderate rain or snowfall may be seen in Uttarakhand on January 6. Not only this, light rain or showers with thunder and strong winds may occur in Delhi NCR areas on January 6.

The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature on Sunday to be 18 degrees while the minimum temperature will be around 10 degrees Celsius. On January 6, the maximum temperature is expected to be 16 degrees while the minimum temperature is expected to be 12 degrees Celsius. During January 7 to 9, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 18 to 19 degrees while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 8 to 6 degrees Celsius.
