Rain Alert: Cyclone Fengal is turning into a cyclonic storm after midnight on Thursday. Due to this, heavy to moderate rains are expected in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu for the next 2 to 3 days.

Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Puducherry have the biggest alert of heavy rains (Latest Rain Alert) on November 29. IMD has issued a red alert here. Apart from this, there is a yellow alert of rain in South Interior Karnataka.

Dense fog is likely to persist in different parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Bihar till November 30 and in Uttar Pradesh till the morning of December 2. Yellow alert has also been issued in all these places today. Fog will continue in different parts of North India.

Looking at the Cyclone Fengal Updates, the Indian Coast Guard has rescued six fishermen from a village in Cuddalore district after a request from the state government. The fishermen had gone to sea on a boat and their ships sank due to bad weather (Heavy Rain Alert). Education Minister A Namassivayam said that all government schools, private schools and colleges in Puducherry and Karaikal will remain closed on November 29 and 30.
