The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the deep pressure area is a more intense phase of a low pressure area and it usually forms before a cyclonic storm. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in many states.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?

The maximum temperature in the national capital Delhi on Monday was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. According to meteorological data, the humidity during the day ranged between 92 percent and 75 percent. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the national capital was recorded at 117 at 4 pm, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.

The IMD has predicted generally cloudy weather and light rain in Delhi on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday is likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius. According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi for the next three days. Along with rain, cold winds can also blow, which can give relief to people from heat and humidity.

Heavy rain warning in these 21 states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert regarding rain in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Along with this, the IMD has also predicted heavy rains in many states. An orange alert has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains may occur in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the IMD has issued a warning of heavy rains in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Kerala and Karnataka.
