Badrinath National Highway remained closed on Sunday due to a rock breaking and falling on the road in Vishnuprayag in Uttarakhand. Due to this, Chardham Yatra has been stopped till Monday. Currently 98 routes are closed in the state. Major rivers including Ganga, Alaknanda are in spate. The water level of Ganga is just 85 cm below the danger mark. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain till July 11 from Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar to the Northeast.
41 roads closed in Himachal
Due to heavy rain and floods in Himachal Pradesh, movement on 41 roads is closed. Debris has come on the roads due to landslides at many places. On Sunday, a cowshed collapsed due to landslide in Kullu. According to the state government, 212 electricity transformers have been damaged and 17 water supply schemes have also been disrupted.
Situation is bad in many states
Due to heavy rains in Bihar, many rivers including Kosi, Mahananda, Bagmati, Gandak have reached the danger mark. At the same time, more than 23 lakh people have been affected in Assam. 65 people trapped in the flood in Palghar, Maharashtra have been rescued safely.
Delhi: Yamuna water level starts rising

65 people rescued in Maharashtra

Most of the rivers in Bihar are close to the danger mark
