Heavy rain in these states

IMD said south-easterly moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal will move towards eastern India, causing moderate to heavy rainfall over many districts of Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar and Assam as well as other northeastern states this week. . Heat wave in these states, orange alert

The IMD has also issued an orange alert in most of the districts of Karnataka, where voting is taking place on Tuesday. The temperature in Odisha and Karnataka is expected to be above 40 degrees Celsius on the day of voting in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.

It is noteworthy that in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting is going on in 93 constituencies of 11 states and union territories on Tuesday.
