However, there is going to be heavy rain in Eastern India from 30th September to 3rd October i.e. for four days. Apart from this, the west coast will see heavy rain today and tomorrow.

Talking about Eastern India, the Meteorological Department said that there is going to be heavy rain in all Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar from September 30 to October 4. Apart from this, there will be heavy rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha from September 30 to October 3, October 1 to October 3 and Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 30 and October 1. Talking about Western India, areas of Konkan, Goa and Central Maharashtra will see heavy rains on September 30 and October 1.

Apart from this, if we talk about South India, there will be heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka on 30 September, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala, Mahe on 30 September and 1 October. Talking about Central India, Chhattisgarh is going to see heavy rains from September 30 to October 2, East Madhya Pradesh from October 1 and 2. Apart from this, Northeast India will see heavy rains in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on September 30 and Arunachal Pradesh on October 3 and 4. At the same time, it is raining heavily in Kerala at this time. The Meteorological Department has today issued an orange alert in four districts of Kerala – Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kollam and Pathanamthitta. Yellow alert has been issued for all the remaining districts.

Odisha: Chance of heavy rain

At the same time, after the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in Odisha, in view of which the state government has prepared itself to deal with any situation arising from it. have taken. IMD said that this low pressure area is currently over the Northeast and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal. According to the department, during the next 48 hours this area will move towards North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal coasts. The Meteorological Department said that there may be heavy rainfall across Odisha, which may cause waterlogging in low-lying areas, floods and landslides at some places.
