Weather Updates: The Meteorological Department estimates that there is a possibility of rain, snowfall and cold wave in many states for the next three days. Whereas there is a possibility of hailstorm in UP, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Weather Updates: The Meteorological Department has issued weather updates for the next four days. IMD says that hailstorm occurred in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh on February 12. There is a possibility of cold wave and light rain in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir and Himachal between 13 to 15 February. At the same time, warning of heavy hailstorm has been issued in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of light and moderate rain with thunderstorms in the central Indian states on February 12 and 13 and in the eastern states during February 13 to 15. According to IMD, the temperature in northwestern parts and is likely to be 2-4 degrees Celsius below normal. Therefore, cold wave may prevail in the hilly areas of Himachal, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir for the next four days. The minimum temperature recorded here today was 3.6 degrees.

Hailstorm in MP, Odisha and Vidarbha

The Meteorological Department says that for February 12, hailstorm was recorded at different places in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Odisha. Light to moderate rainfall has also occurred at some places in Marathwada, Telangana, Jharkhand.

Chance of rain in these states, hail in UP

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Western Rajasthan on February 13. Snowfall may also occur in hilly areas. IMD says that due to a fresh western disturbance, there is a possibility of sporadic rain and snowfall in the Himalayan states on February 17 and 18. The Meteorological Department says that there may be hailstorm in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand on February 13.

At the same time, the minimum temperature in the north-west parts is likely to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 5 days. There is also a possibility of a gradual increase in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius in many parts of eastern India. No significant change is visible in the next 2 days and beyond. Apart from this, there is no possibility of any significant change in the minimum temperature in the central Indian parts for the next five days.
