Rainfall Alert: There is going to be heavy rain in this area for the next seven days

Today’s weather: There is a possibility of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Eastern Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh from 11 to 17 August, Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad from 14 to 17 August, West Rajasthan till 14 August, Haryana, Chandigarh till 15 August, Jharkhand, Odisha from 13 to 15 August.

12 August 2024 Mausam: The blessings of clouds are expected to continue over Uttar Pradesh throughout this week. Similar weather can also be seen in some parts of Rajasthan. The Sunday forecast of IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has given such indications. Apart from this, the rain may continue for the next few days in most of the states of West, Central, East, Northeast and South Peninsular India.

Skymet Weather said on Sunday that in the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, eastern Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Northeast India, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka.

At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Goa, coastal Karnataka, coastal Maharashtra, East Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Also, light rain is expected in Ladakh, western parts of Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, South Telangana, North Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

IMD has said that there are chances of heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh from 11 to 17 August, Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad from 14 to 17 August, West Rajasthan till 14 August, Haryana, Chandigarh till 15 August, Jharkhand, Odisha from 13 to 15 August.

The Meteorological Department has also said that light or moderate rains may occur in West and Central India on most days of the week. Similar conditions may also prevail in the eastern and northeastern states.
