Yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai, Pune, Thane and Palghar. Apart from this, orange alert has also been declared for Raigad (Navi Mumbai), Ratnagiri, Bhandra and Satara. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for very heavy rain in Goa and Madhya Pradesh on July 24. Heavy rain is forecast for Western Madhya Pradesh on July 24 and Eastern Madhya Pradesh on July 23. Similar forecast is for Gujarat on July 24 and 25. Heavy rain may occur in Gangetic West Bengal on July 23, Jharkhand from July 23 to 25, Eastern Madhya Pradesh on July 24 and 25. Apart from this, similar forecast is for the next five days in the coastal areas of Odisha and Karnataka.
