Monsoon Weather Report: According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is possible in Odisha, parts of South Gujarat, East Rajasthan and parts of Bihar and Jharkhand in the next 24 hours. Thunderstorms with dust storms may occur at many places in Western Rajasthan, parts of Eastern Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana.
Monsoon Weather Report: People are gradually getting relief from the scorching heat in many parts of the country. Monsoon has also entered and is moving forward to other parts at a fast pace. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted an increase in activity off the coast of Karnataka and Maharashtra from June 8. Apart from this, the IMD has predicted thunderstorms with rain in northwest India.
According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave is expected in parts of northern Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and eastern India. According to the IMD, the southwest monsoon has reached Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, northwest Bay of Bengal and parts of the central Arabian Sea. The Meteorological Department has also predicted that in the next 2-3 days, the monsoon will reach coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and the remaining parts of northwest Bay of Bengal.
Heat wave alert in Delhi again
Talking about the capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave on Monday and Tuesday. Along with this, a yellow alert has also been issued regarding this. At the same time, there may be light drizzle in some areas of Delhi on Saturday. Due to this, there is a possibility of slight relief from the heat on Sunday.
Weather condition of other parts of the country
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is possible in Karnataka, parts of Kerala, Lakshadweep, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Andaman and Nicobar Islands with heavy rain at some places. Light to moderate rain may occur in Vidarbha, Sikkim, Northeast India, South Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and parts of Himachal Pradesh.
Light rain is possible over Odisha, parts of South Gujarat, East Rajasthan and parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. Thunderstorms with dust storms are possible at many places over West Rajasthan, parts of East Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. Light rain with dust storms is possible over Delhi and adjoining areas. Hot winds may blow over isolated areas of Northeast Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and Odisha.
