The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain in the districts of Bengal today. According to the Meteorological Department, due to low pressure areas, there may be heavy to very heavy rain in the sub-Himalayan districts of West Bengal today. Along with this, warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar and Alipurduar districts.

Monsoon may return.

Light rain occurred in central parts of Uttar Pradesh, northern interior parts of Odisha, Tamil Nadu, southern interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Not only this, light to moderate rain occurred in coastal Tamil Nadu, Kerala, parts of South Central Maharashtra, Bihar, south-east Uttar Pradesh, North-East India and parts of Jharkhand.
