Rainfall Alert: There will be heavy rains in these 8 states till August 3, know the condition of your state

Weather Update: Rain continues in many parts of Delhi and NCR. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi. With this, rain havoc can be seen in many states including the capital. IMD said that Delhi will remain cloudy on Sunday and moderate rain is possible. At the same time, there will be torrential rain in some states till August 2. Today, the maximum and minimum temperature of Delhi can be 34 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively. Chances of rain in these states as well

According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rain is expected in some parts of Konkan and Goa on Sunday. At the same time, light to moderate rain is expected in some parts of Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana apart from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Heavy rain may occur in some parts of coastal Karnataka and Odisha. Light to moderate rain is expected in Sikkim, Northeast India, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal with heavy rain once or twice.

Rain became a killer

Four people died in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh within the last 24 hours. A mother and daughter died in a landslide in New Tehri, Uttarakhand, while two people died due to lightning in a village in Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The body of a 26-year-old man was recovered on Saturday in Maharashtra. He was swept away in flood waters during torrential rains in Pune on July 24. With this, the death toll in such incidents has gone up to six since Wednesday. Three people died and two others were injured when a building collapsed in Navi Mumbai on Saturday.

Water everywhere in these states till August 3

According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall was recorded at some places with extremely heavy rains at isolated places in Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Western Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, South Interior and Coastal Karnataka and Odisha. Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Haryana-Chandigarh, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha and North Interior Karnataka.
