According to IMD, there are chances of snowfall along with rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain and storm in Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

IMD Update: The heat has started increasing in the country and the temperature is increasing in most of the states. According to the Meteorological Department, due to a fresh western disturbance, changes may be seen in the weather of many states of North India. According to IMD, there are chances of snowfall along with rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain and storm in Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Seasonal activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the Western Disturbance in the form of a cyclonic circulation is now between 3.1 and 4.5 kilometers above sea level over western Afghanistan and surrounding areas. At the level of 5.8 kilometers, the low pressure line is running north of 20 degrees north latitude with about 62 degrees east longitude with central and upper westerly winds.

Apart from this, a cyclonic circulation is over northwest Rajasthan and a cyclonic circulation is over south Assam and surrounding areas at 1.5 to 3.1 km above sea level. A cyclonic circulation has formed over south-west Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, a trough extends from northern Tamil Nadu to interior Karnataka and Marathwada and the cyclonic circulation of south-west Madhya Pradesh. Due to these reasons, changes are being seen in the weather across the country.

Delhi’s climate

The weather will remain clear in Delhi this entire week and an increase in day temperature will be seen. However, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of cloudy sky on April 4. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 34 to 37 degrees Celsius throughout this week. The minimum temperature is likely to be between 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Weather condition of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and snowfall with isolated heavy falls may occur over the Western Himalayas during the next 24 hours and thereafter the intensity and spread may reduce. At the same time, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur in Sikkim and Northeast India. Snowfall is possible in parts of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 2 days.

Apart from this, rain and storm are possible in North Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Kerala. Heat wave conditions are possible in isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Telangana. At the same time, there may be hot night conditions in different parts of Western Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada.
