The weather in the country’s capital Delhi remains normal. Some softness is being seen in the morning and evening weather here, but humidity and heat still continue during the day. Similar weather is expected in the coming days as well. The maximum temperature of Delhi is seen between 35 to 36 degree Celsius these days. At the same time, the minimum temperature is being measured at 22 to 23 degree Celsius. Similar weather will be seen in Delhi till October 14.

Chances of rain in these states today

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain is possible in Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep today, with heavy rain at some places. Light to moderate rain is possible in Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Northeast India and Tamil Nadu. Light rain is possible in Western Himalayas, Bihar and East Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert in some states.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has already departed from Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, half of Madhya Pradesh and most parts of Uttar Pradesh, but it is yet to depart from Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and the north-eastern states. However, the last date for the departure of the monsoon from the country is considered to be October 15.
