There is a possibility of drizzle with strong wind intermittently in the capital Delhi for the next three days. Due to this, the people of Delhi will get relief from the heat. Meanwhile, on Thursday also the maximum temperature of Delhi remained one degree below normal. The Meteorological Department estimates that the impact of another western disturbance will be seen on the weather of Delhi in the next three days. Due to this, there will be movement of clouds and there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places. Due to this the maximum temperature will drop. Especially on May 12, the maximum temperature is likely to be up to 37 degrees Celsius.

The air cleared after six days

The people of Delhi have also got relief from pollution due to the high speed winds. For the last six days, Delhi’s air quality index was continuously above 200 i.e. in the poor category, but it improved on Thursday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average air quality index of Delhi on Thursday stood at 178 points i.e. in the moderate category. The air quality is expected to remain around this during the next two days also.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good”, between 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, between 101 and 200 “moderate”, between 201 and 300 “poor”, between 301 and 400 “very poor” and 401 and between 500 is considered “severe”.
