IMD Weather Update: Many states of the country are currently in the grip of severe cold. Meanwhile, the news of relief is that there is going to be relief from dense fog and cold in North India in the next four to five days. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in many states including UP, Bihar and Rajasthan will increase by four degrees Celsius, after which there will be some relief.
The weather is changing in Delhi at the moment. Sometimes one feels extreme cold and sometimes one gets relief from cold after the sun goes out. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. Monday (29 January) the maximum temperature is likely to be 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 7 degrees. The weather will change in Delhi from 31 January to 3 February because light rain can be seen here during this period.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of the first heavy snowfall of this season due to the effect of two western disturbances in the Western Himalayan region. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh between January 28 and January 31.
Apart from this, there is an alert of dense fog and cold day in Uttarakhand till January 29. Here too there may be light rain from January 31. Dense fog is expected to prevail in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till February 1.
IMD says that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand from January 31 to February 2. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh.
