IMD has said in its report released on June 20 that it is going to rain from Delhi NCR to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the next few hours. According to the latest report of IMD, light to moderate rainfall is likely at some places over Western Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Vidarbha, East Telangana and adjoining North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, South Gujarat, North Konkan, Goa and Karnataka during the next 3 hours.

There will be rain in Delhi-NCR

At the same time, IMD has also said that during the next 2 hours, light to moderate intensity rain and winds will blow at some places and adjoining areas of North Delhi, North-East Delhi, North-West Delhi, West Delhi, Central Delhi, NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon Air Force Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula) Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda (Haryana) Baghpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Pilkhua (UP).

Where the monsoon was stuck

The monsoon reached some parts of the Nicobar Islands on May 19. After this, on May 26, along with cyclone Remal, the monsoon reached most parts of the south and some parts of the central Bay of Bengal. The monsoon knocked on Kerala and the northeastern states on May 30, two and six days before normal.

The monsoon had knocked on Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, all parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, most areas of southern Maharashtra, southern Chhattisgarh, some parts of southern Odisha, most parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal, most parts of Sikkim and all the northeastern states by June 12. After reaching these areas, the monsoon did not move further.
