IMD Weather Update: According to IMD, there will be dense fog in some areas of UP, Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Western Rajasthan and Eastern Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.

The severe cold in entire North India including the capital Delhi made life difficult for people. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department said that there is not going to be any significant relief from cold and dense fog. According to IMD, today i.e. Monday (January 8) there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in UP, Bihar and Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Department says that a fresh western disturbance can hit the areas of North-West India in Delhi-NCR from today, due to which many areas of the capital will see rain. IMD says that there is a possibility of drizzle in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and lightning in many states of North India. IMD has issued orange alert for Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Due to dense fog, visibility level of 25 to 50 meters was recorded in different areas of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and East Rajasthan till 8.30 am on Sunday (January 7).
The Meteorological Department says that during the next 24 hours, dense to very dense fog and cold day conditions may persist in some areas of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. After this, there are chances of getting relief from dense fog from January 10.
