Hemant Sharma. Raipur. A case of cheating of Rs 8.77 lakh has come up in the name of getting a gas agency in the capital. This swindle took place with Chandrabhan Devangan, a resident of Changorabhatha. The applicant had applied for an online gas agency on Hindustan Petroleum’s website. DD Nagar Police has registered a case on the complaint of the victim.
According to the police, Chandrabhan Dewangan, a resident of Changorabhata, had applied online in the website of Hindustan Petroleum 3 months ago. On 18 February, a phone number came from it with a mobile number. The person making the call, stating his name Kusalal Jaiswal, asked the victim that you had applied for the gas agency, on which the applicant said yes.
After this, the thug said that I am mailing you the application and WhatsApp, you fill it again and mail it to the mail id with the documents or WhatsApp. After mail and whatsapp by the victim, he was asked to give Rs 19500 by giving an approval letter. Then the applicant was sometimes asked for money in the name of economization and sometimes in the name of the invaluable amount of cylinder stock. The victim Chandrabhan has deposited a total of 8 lakh 77 thousand rupees in the account given by the accused.
Even after giving so much money, when the agency could not be found, the applicant reached the office of the temple in Hassaud, then he came to know of the fraud. Police is now looking for the accused in this case by tracing bank accounts and mobiles.
