The much awaited stoppage of 20501 Agartala – Anand Vihar Tejas Rajdhani Express at Malda Town station is an important step in the development of Railways in West Bengal.
Agartala-Anand Vihar (T) Tejas Rajdhani Weekly Express will now run via Malda Town-Bhagalpur-Jamalpur via Malda Town-Bhagalpur-Jamalpur. Trains departing from Agartala from 15.1.2024 and trains departing from Anand Vihar (T) from 17.1.2024 will also have halt at Malda station.

This train will run weekly and reach Anand Vihar at 10:50 am on Wednesday. 20502 Anand Vihar-Agartala Tejas Rajdhani Express will depart Anand Vihar Terminal at 19:50 hrs every Wednesday and reach Agartala at 15:40 hrs on Friday. This train will stop at Ambassa, Dharmanagar, New Karimganj, Badarpur, Hojai, Guwahati, Rangiya, Barpeta Road, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Patna, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction and Kanpur Central stations en route.
