Superstar Rajinikanth will be honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. Rajinikanth will be honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke 2019 Award for his contribution to cinema. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar (Prakash Javadekar) announced this today i.e. on Thursday. He also said that it has nothing to do with the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
Prakash Javadekar said in a tweet that he is very happy to announce that Dadasaheb Phalke’s award for 2019 is being given to the legendary actor Rajinikanth in the history of Indian cinema. His contribution as an actor, producer and screenwriter is distinguished.

Questions raised over the award to Rajinikanth

However, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has ignored these reports. He said that the decision to honor Rajinikanth with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award was made by a jury of 5 members. The jury includes Vishwajit Chatterjee, Shankar Mahadevan, Asha Bhosle, Mohanlal and Subhash Ghai. With the decision of this jury, it has been decided to give this award to Rajinikanth.
