Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio included 84% growth in income of this company, know everything

New Delhi. Nazara Technologies has also performed brilliantly in the market by bringing the characters of shows like Motu-Patlu, Chhota Bheem, Shikari Shambhu on television into mobile games. Nazara Technologies, a mobile gaming company, invested by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala in the financial year 2021, saw the company’s revenue grow 84 per cent year-on-year to Rs 454.2 crore in this period. Whereas EBITDA has risen by 470 per cent during this period.




In the information given to the BSE, the company has said that its gamified learning and e-sports segments have shown strong growth and further laid the foundation for the company’s strong growth in the business. The company has released only its business updates today i.e. on 22 April. The complete results of the company will be released in May.

Increase by more than 9 times

The company’s gamified learning segment has grown by more than 9 times on an annual basis during FY 2021 and the income of this segment has been Rs 175.8 crore. The company has reported that in March 2021, Kiddopia had 3,40,282 paying subscribers. Whereas in March 2020, Kiddopia had 1,97,522 paying subscribers. That is, in a period of one year, Kiddopia’s subscriber base has seen an increase of 172 per cent.

Esports business also came in at Rs 170.1 crore

The company’s esports business (e-sport business) has also grown more than 2 times in FY 2021 and has increased from Rs 84.2 crores in FY 2020 to Rs 170.1 crores. Under the Esports business, Sportskeeda’s Monthly Active Users ((MAU) has seen 487 percent growth in FY 2021. However, Nodwin’s revenue has shown a 75 percent increase over FY2020 during this period.

Expanded its business in South Asia

Media Right was the biggest contributor to the revenue for FY 2021. At the same time, the game publisher was the second largest contributor to income. During this period Nodwin expanded its business in South Asia. The company has further stated that it has been a leader in Esports in India with its large IPs like ESL India premiership, Dew Arena. The company has also reported that its telecom operator-based subscription business declined by 8 per cent in FY 2021.
