India’s first rapid rail ‘RAPIDX’ launched
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch the first rapid rail, RAPIDEX, on a 17 km primary corridor in Ghaziabad next week. At this historic moment, the first train will be operated by female pilots.
Inauguration in Navratri and worship of Shakti
This train will be launched on the occasion of Navratri festival, in which Shakti is worshipped.
RAPIDX CONNECT app and other projects
NCR Transport Corporation (NCRTC) will also launch “RAPIDX CONNECT” mobile app on this occasion. Additionally, domestic manufacturing platform Screen Corridor will be launched virtually.
Delhi-Meerut RAPIDEX network information
The entire network is 82 km long and is expected to be fully functional in 2025.

The rapid train will have six coaches, including four general coaches, one premium coach and one reserved compartment for ladies.
