Service started in these cities
According to the information given by the company, first the company has started this service from Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. However, the company’s co-founder Pawan Guntupalli says that in the coming time the company will expand this service to Tier-1 cities like Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and other cities.
Zero commission for drivers
The company has also launched a SaaS-based platform, which has brought the facility of zero commission for drivers. With this initiative, drivers will have to pay nominal usage fees, which will not affect their earnings much. Zero commission model has been started for drivers. Through this service there will be direct payment between the customer and the driver. Drivers will have to pay only a simple subscription fee.
Company launched with 1 lakh fleet
Apart from this, the company said that after Tier-1 cities, now the company has promised to launch it in Tier-2 cities like Patna, Bhubaneswar and other cities also. Company’s co-founder Pawan Guntupalli has claimed that as the fleets increase in the country and the service continues to expand, Rapido’s cab service will be available at lower prices. The company says that at present the prices of Rapido’s bike and auto taxis are lower than other aggregators.
