- First you have to open http://ahara.kar.nic.in website.
- On home page, click on “E-Services” section in main menu or directly click on https://ahara.kar.nic.in/Home/EServices
- A new ration card should be selected from the e-ration card
- Then choose one of the 2 languages (English or Kannada)
- Preferred household for BPL card should be selected by family not preferred for APL
- Then answer the question whether you have applied for BPL card before or whether it is a new application
- Select District, Taluk, Acknowledgment Number and select “Go” to fill new registration application
- Then click on option for BPL or APL.
New ration cards will be issued within 15 days after verification of all documents submitted for ration card. In that case Rs 100 or fixed amount has to be paid.
