Instructions are being given by the government in this regard since last June. Despite this, Aadhaar seeding of 1 lakh 84 thousand 51 people of the district has still not been done. Whereas Aadhaar seeding can be done for free by visiting your public distribution system vendor.

31st December is the last date

Those members whose Aadhaar seeding is not done may have to be deprived of ration. It was told that the government has extended the date of Aadhaar seeding for the sixth time. Now it has been made mandatory to get Aadhaar seeding done by 31st December in any case.

Aadhaar seeding will be done through e-POS machine

District Supply Officer Mahmood Alam said that despite the instructions of the government, many people have not got their Aadhaar seeded. In such a situation, if Aadhaar seeding is not done within the stipulated time, they may have to be deprived of ration, hence, go to your public distribution vendor and get your Aadhaar seeding done through e-POS machine.

He told that no fee is charged by the public distribution vendor for this. If any public distribution vendor demands fee, then you can complain against him.
